Hi. I'm Miral Bessed with the Intel® NUC Gaming Team. I'm here to show you how the new Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Mini PC and Kits help the next generation of Gaming Enthusiasts play without limits.

Powered by 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 or i5 processors and Intel® Arc™ Discrete Graphics, these ultra-small mini PCs deliver the performance, ports, and innovative capabilities gamers need to play, stream, record, edit, and, of course, browse and chat, without skipping a beat.

Continuing a progression of platform-level innovation, the 12th Gen Intel® Core processors feature a new hybrid architecture and technologies that power up the performance of every core to drive faster gameplay and better real-world performance.

Plus, these systems are supercharged with Intel® Arc™ Discrete Graphics to up-level gaming with AI-enhanced upscaling, real-time ray tracing, gamers can play the latest DirectX12 Ultimate games up to Ultra settings.

The Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast comes in two configurations-fully built and kit configuration.

Mainstream Gaming Enthusiasts will appreciate the Mini PC configuration that's already optimized for gaming and ready to use right out of the box. This system comes with a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, Intel® Arc™ A730M Discrete Graphics with 12 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory, 16 Gigabytes of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, a 500 Gigabyte Gen4 NVMe SSD, and Windows* 11 Home.

Alpha DIY gamers, streamers, and content creators may opt for the Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Kit to customize their Mini PC with the operating system, memory, and storage they prefer.

Serious Gaming Enthusiasts demand the memory and storage to boot, load, and level up fast. Every Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Mini PC system can support up to 64 gigabytes of dual-channel DDR4 memory and has three M.2 PCIe slots, so it can be customized for an optimal gaming experience.

Another advantage of the Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast systems is the intelligence of Intel® Thread Director built directly into the hardware. Intel® Thread Director works with the operating system to place the right thread on the right core at the right time to keep gaming free of interruptions. It seamlessly and dynamically adapts to system and user needs so there is no need to worry about background tasks slowing things down.

Featuring the latest in wireless connectivity with Intel® Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, these tiny systems deliver gigabit speeds and low latency for ultra-responsive gaming throughout the home.

Dream set-ups are made easy with horizontal or vertical placement and fast connections and transfer speeds via two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports and six USB 3.2 Gen2 ports.

Support for multiple 4K and 8K displays means creators can see their creations the way they're meant to be seen, in full UHD brilliance.

Measuring only 9.1 by 7.1 by 2.4 inches and 2.5 liters, the flexible, space-saving design of Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Mini PCs makes them an excellent choice for tight spaces. And with the innovative thermal design these systems run quietly.

The Intel® NUC Kit integration is designed to be fast and easy. Simplified customization also allows integrators and system builders to fulfill product demand quickly.

Regardless of the configuration chosen, the Intel® NUC Software Studio system management application is available to further easily tailor the user experience.

The RGB-backlit logo has a replaceable mask, allowing further customization of the system with a personalized design.

Backed by a three-year Intel warranty, Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Mini PC and Kits are a game-changer and a space saver for your Gaming Enthusiasts.

With that in mind, I want to introduce Joel, a Product Marketing Engineer for our Extreme and Enthusiast Gaming NUCs. He'll take you through just how easy it is to integrate the memory and storage for customers who want to purchase an Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Kit and customize the setup to meet their unique needs.

Integration/Customization Instructions

Thanks, Miral. It really is a very simple process to customize configurations to be up and running quickly with the Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Kit.

Each Kit features a board and chassis optimized for gaming with a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 or i5 processor. Intel® ARC Discrete Graphics is also pre-installed with 8, 12, or 16 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory.

You'll also need the memory and storage you're installing.

Let's get started!

The Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Kits provides a wide variety of flexible storage and memory options.

Three M.2 PCIe SSD slots and up to 64 Gigabytes of ultra-fast dual-channel DDR4-3200 MHz memory. Two of the M.2 slots are Gen4 NVMe and the third M.2 slot is a Gen3 NVMe or SATA3 slot.

First, lay the NUC flat or horizontal on your work surface and loosen the six captive screws using the Allen wrench on the top panel so you can remove it and set it aside.

Next, loosen the six captive screws that hold the internal shield in place. There's a cable attaching the shield to the main board, so be careful when removing it.

Now let's install the memory. Insert your SODIMMs one at a time, starting with the bottom slot. Place your SODIMM in the slot at an angle and gently push down until it clicks into place.

To install a M.2 solid-state drive, like this one, first remove the M.2 retention screw. Insert the SSD in the M.2 slot at an angle and gently push the drive down. Once it's inserted, replace the M.2 screw.

While you have the cover off the system, this is a great time to customize the light-up graphic on the front. Take advantage of a short, easy-to-follow training course at Intel® Partner University called Customizing Intel® NUCs for Gaming - Creating Your Own Graphic Image Mask.

If you're going to be using your NUC horizontally, be sure to orient the logo mask so it is facing the front.

When you've finished, simply re-attach the shield with the six captive screws. Be careful not to overtighten them.

Finally, replace the top cover and secure it with the six captive screws. Again, be careful not to overtighten them.

Now the system is ready for an operating system to be installed. Consult the online compatibility guide for installation details.

As Miral mentioned earlier, both the Intel® NUC 12 Enthusiast Mini PC and Kits can be further customized using the Intel® NUC Software Studio system management application to optimize the RGB lighting around the base of the system and for the RGB backlit front panel. Intel® NUC Software Studio makes it easy to set the color of the LED light and change the LED behaviors including pulsing, strobing, and more. The NUC Software Studio is available for Windows* through the Intel® Download Center and at the Microsoft* Store.
